About TagTig

TagTig is a Technology Commercialisation and Strategic Change consultancy. It provides software development and IT support as an integral part of the majority of its projects.

TagTig's lead consultant is Clive Dyson, who has over 30 years' experience of taking products to market and running change programmes, including running large business units, managing the development and launch of semiconductor, software and service products, providing consultancy to a range of companies and public sector bodies and establishing and growing start up companies.

TagTig has assisted with technology commercialisation and strategic business planning within organisations ranging from large PLCs, through Universities, to start-up companies. Our consultants and associates have a wide range of experience in market analysis, developing effective commercialisation routes, taking products to market, product development (both software and hardware) and ensuring that the products developed have the potential to be commercially successful.

We have also helped prevent wasted investments in products with little hope of market success. We can help you focus your limited resources on those markets that will yield the best returns.

We can also provide interim management as well as guidance and assistance with fund raising from investors and public sectors grants.

Recent assignments have included:

  • Establishing Clarizon Limited, raising investment and grants and developing prototypes for an efficient electrochemical ozone generator.
  • Mentoring the development of a business and technology strategy to address a key market segment for e2v Technologies Limited. Establishing a product development team and guiding the specification and implementation of the product.
  • Establishing e-Therapeutics, a bioinformatics company, for a UK university, including fund raising and initial development. e-Therapeutics subsequently listed on AIM.
  • Carrying out a strategic analysis of the electricity generation market and facilitating the development of a revised business plan for a client.
  • Interim management of St Andrews Fuel Cells Limited for its investors, including building a pilot line.
  • Carrying out IP portfolio evaluations and commercialisation business process development for UK universities.
