Recent assignments have included:

• Interim management for St Andrews Fuel Cell Limited, including leading in investment round.

• Establishing Clarizon Limited, an electrochemistry company based on technology from the University of Hong Kong and Newcastle University.

• Leading the development of a business and technology strategy to address a key market segment, together with a business plan and implementation roadmap, for e2v Technologies Limited. Establishing a product development team and guiding the specification and implementation of the product.

• Starting up a bioinformatics company for a UK university, including fund raising.

• Carrying out IP portfolio evaluations and commercialisation business process development for UK universities.

• Facilitating a strategic review for a telecommunications company leading to a revised commercial approach and a new business plan.
